Se le somete a fuerzas m\u00e1s altas, y por lo tanto un aumento en su calidad generalmente conduce a resultados m\u00e1s econ\u00f3micos.<\/p><p>El uso de concreto de alta resistencia permite la reducci\u00f3n de las dimensiones de la secci\u00f3n de los miembros a un m\u00ednimo, logr\u00e1ndose ahorros significativos en carga muerta siendo posible que grandes claros resulten t\u00e9cnica y econ\u00f3micamente posibles. Las p\u00e9rdidas por flujo pl\u00e1stico que son aproximadamente proporcionales a las p\u00e9rdidas el\u00e1sticas, son tambi\u00e9n menores.<\/li><li>Minimizan el costo, ya que los anclajes comerciales para el acero de presfuerzo son siempre dise\u00f1ados con base de concreto de alta resistencia. De aqu\u00ed que el concreto de menor resistencia requiere anclajes especiales o puede fallar mediante la aplicaci\u00f3n del presfuerzo. Compactar bien el concreto con vibrador durante la colocaci\u00f3n y darle el acabado requerido a la superficie.<\/p><p>Para alcanzar un desarrollo \u00f3ptimo de las propiedades del concreto, se debe realizar un curado cuidadoso, preferentemente de 7 d\u00edas o por lo menos de 3.<\/p><p>Iniciar el curado cuando la superficie empiece a perder su brillo. No agregar agua por ning\u00fan motivo; ni contaminar con otros materiales el concreto, pues perjudica su calidad.
